One of the leading manufacturers of the Turkish lighting sector, Pelsan Lighting held the fourth of its LED Lighting Seminars, following those realized in June 2014 in the cities of Adana, Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa,on August 14th 2014 in Ramada Plaza Antalya Hotel.

Pelsan Lighting Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Reşit Göğüş who made the opening speech explained how the LED technology, launched to be the technology of the future, created a milestone on the lighting sector and how they started their journey with the with the desire to share all the investments and innovations they realized within this period with their visitors.
The seminar continued with the presentation of the Deputy Director in charge of Marketing of Pelsan Lighting, Yurdem Göğüş Çoruhlu. Göğüş, in his presentation, made a presentation evaluating the developing lighting market, Turkey’s latest position on energy efficiency and the changing “smart home” concepts. Çoruhlu shared the works realized by the company in 2013 and the first half of 2014 with the suppliers, mentioning that Pelsan is in a period of change parallel to the change in light sources; explaining about the research works, accredited laboratory works and researches, latest designs exclusively for LED products, lighting and electricity integration that has manifested through LED technology and the LED road and environment lighting projects they realized with Tubitak (The scientific and technological research council of Turkey).

Then it was the turn of the Research & Development Manager of Pelsan Lighting, Bülent Şener, who made a presentation on the subject of LED, with anemphasis on LED light sources, energy saving with the use of LED light sources, LED efficiency, high lumen depreciation rates and superior colour rendering. During the seminar,Pelsan Lighting’s LED products were explained in detail, including some sample cases of projects and product demos. Theprogram ended with a dinner.
